so i decided to give some tips to noobs because when i started no one helped me so here it is....
so you start off as a level 3 and you should fish till level 20 so you can catch trout. first get a crayfish pot from the fishing shop in Lumbridge and head to the bridge and head south from there till you reach a fishing spot. catch crays and cook them till you reach 20. you could sell the crays at the general store. once you have level 20 fishing go and kill chickens at the Lumbridge chicken farm untilyou have at least 10 on hit points, strength, defence, attack, range or magic. if you don't have any weapons complete the blood pact quest and it will give you some. when you kill the chickens only pick up the feathers. you have to have feathers to catch trout so kill lots of chickens. once you have the feathers get a fly fishing rod at the fishing store in Lumbridge. after you have the fishing bits go up to the barbarian village and start fishing and cooking trout then bank them at the Varrock bank or the GE (grand exchange). after you have lots of cooked trout in your bank head back to Lumbridge and start to kill cows till level 20 on attack, defence, strength, magic or range. only pick up the cowhide and bank them in the bank in Al Kharid. once you get to level 20 on the combat skills sell the cowhides at the GE. then hopefully you have enough GP (gold pieces) to buy armour/runes/bow and arrows. if you are a mage a good place to get your runes is in the dark knights fortress in level 13 in the wildy and the runes are FREE!!!!!

As soon as a player reaches level 99 in two skills his or her first achievement skill cape becomes trimmed immediately. Additionally he or she will only be able to buy trimmed capes. Trimmed capes look exactly like regular capes only they have a coloured trimmed edging. Quest capes cannot be bought trimmed, and you cannot get a trimmed Skill Cape if you have one level-99 Skill and a quest cape. Hoods cannot be trimmed. The trimmed capes can be bought from the same people for the same price. You cannot own two skill capes and have one untrimmed. The instant you buy a second cape, they are both transferred into trimmed capes.

the cooking skillcape can be bought from the head chief in the cooking guild west of varrock. the skillcape costs 99k (99000gp) you will need a cooking level of 99 to get the skillcape from the head chief.

the defence skillcape is another great skillcape to have because it dosent let monsters hit you much so its a good skill if you like fighting. the defence skillcape can be bought from the melee guide who is in lumbridge with the other tutors. the skillcape can be bought for 99k (99000gp) but you have to have a defence level of 99 before you buy the skillcape.
